I have always been in love with cut out detail but recently i've noticed it creeping into stores more and more. The only way to do justice to the design (in my opinion) is by using cotton and organic fabrics. Which means paying more. It's got such a vintage vibe though that i'm sure it will still be wearable in 10 years time. At least that's what i'm going to tell myself when i buy the Phillip Lim dress.
