Why do the 90's feel so relevant right now? I'm positive it was naff the first time around but we just couldn't be bothered to think of anything better. Now all i want are some dungarees and a load of that horrible, hippy, silver jewellery, Mary-Kate Olsen style.

Still, i don't feel comforted by the fact i'm in the midst of a trend the second time around. Does that mean i'm old? Or did the trend just come around, really, really fast? More importantly...chokers. Will they make a come back? Could they? Should they?

(Luella, gone but not forgotten!)

Bed hair and black nail varnish are easy to carry off with but i salute anyone who can get away with dark, cranberry lipstick.

Nude, crop top. Definitely going to regret this one but at £10, who cares?

Between the click of the light and the start of the dream

Note the preppy mood at Margaret Howell

Got some unfortunate images of Heidi Montag when I Googled this

Braided hair at Alexander Wang

APC Madras

Despite my love for all things Parisian there are only so many stripy tops a girl can have and so now i'm giving checks in the form of APC a try. Around London this weekend I spotted tonnes of checks, patchwork and little-house-on-the-prairie type dresses with frilly shoulders similar to the new Twentysevennames collection.

purify the colours, purify my mind

Disposable cameras produce cliche photos but how i love them so. There's something exciting about not seeing the photos straight away, and the anticipation of the end result, don't you think?

black wave/bad vibrations

Feeling really inspired by hippy, folk prints at the moment.
